The Challenge
Karmarama was competing for the Amba Hotels account. The pitch required a proposal for a new e-commerce platform that modernised booking and elevated the brand with original creative content.
The Solution
I led the winning pitch, establishing the creative vision and design strategy that secured the account. Following the win, I designed and delivered the full responsive booking platform. To elevate the brand experience, I directed original photography and video content that showcased Amba with authenticity, ensuring the work balanced functional clarity with emotional storytelling.
The Impact
The platform successfully launched, modernising Amba’s digital presence and securing a fresh, distinctive identity in a competitive market. The pitch win added significant new business for the agency, and the launch positioned Amba with a compelling online brand expression.
Announcement Site
After the win, I designed the announcement site to launch the new brand. Creating new design and brand assets along the way.
Making And Breaking The Grid
The grid is the cornerstone of impeccable design. Whether embracing its structure or breaking it, the grid is always present.
Within my design, the grid is distilled from the A in AMBA, becoming both the foundation and fragmentation of the design. Akin to the facets of a diamond, it incises through the content, imparting a fractured elegance.
Core Booking Platform
Following the announcement site, I designed the main booking hub. Functionality took precedence over aesthetics, although both remained vital.
